2022 Solo Show

Negative Thoughts was an Art Exhibition at Positive Space Studios in Logan Square. 

The show explored the impact of Negative thoughts and the progression of Recovery and Self - Acceptance with the audience through Creative Abstraction on Canvas and Installation. The Dark and Bright Color contrasts along with the stark textures on Canvas made this show a bold statement as well as holding an emotional mirror up to the audience.

The interactive installation called Insecure invited the audience to read through the "gown" to the yellow post-it notes that revealed the many negative thoughts that said things such as "I am ugly", "I am not worthy", and "I'll never be good enough". The audience was given other colorful Post-it notes to counter the negative thoughts with positive sayings such as "I can do it!", "I am powerful" and "I am worthy"
